History

We started in 1994 with a group of 16 friends. Over the years, LBSA flourished into serving hundreds of students through events and weekly newsletters.

Standard of Excellence

We are a solely student-led organization whose impetus dwells from our standard for professional excellence and desire to uplift our community. The purpose of LBSA is to assist its members in the pursuit of professional careers and skillsets.

Inclusivity & Operation

Understanding that our historically underserved community faces challenges in accessing professional support, we emphasize that we are an all inclusive organization with everyone being welcome. This is an open invitation to subscribe to our newsletter or apply to serve on the Executive Leadership Team.

General membership consists of filling out our Membership Form and subscribing to our Newsletter. General Members access events and resources that cover professional development topics with different corporate partners and typically enjoy getting to know the Executive Leadership Team.
